Samajona were a german pop girlgroup. Their name consist in the first two letters in each member's name: SAbrina, MArleen, JOe and NAdja.
On 2001, Samajona released their first single "Warum?", the single sold over 100,000 copies. In 2002 Their album "Créme Frech" reached the top charts positions, after the releasing of two more singles: "Wird es heute passieren?" and "So Schwer" Joe and Nadja left the group.
But Sabrina (born March 31, 1982 in Berlin) and Marleen (May 4, 1982 in Berlin) decided to take Kirsty (26 March 1982 in Plauen) and Marie as new members of the band. Together, they came back in 2003, with the second album of the band "Spurwechsel". After three unsuccessful single releases: "The Car U Wanna Drive", "Sag Es" and "Miss You", Kirsty and Marie also left the band.
On 2004, with new members Claudi (March 29, 1983 in Rostock, Germany) and Jule (August 4, 1986 in Berlin), Samajona started a new attempt of the group. Finally on 2005 Marleen left the band being replaced by Jenny, since then there haven't been any new publications.
